Present Tenses!

Present Simple:

Use: The Present Simple is used to describe habitual actions,


general truths, and permanent situations.
Example: I play tennis every Sunday.
Formula: [Subject] + [Base form of verb (infinitive) + 's' or 'es' if
subject is he, she, it]
Present Continuous:

Use: The Present Continuous is used to describe actions happening


at the moment of speaking or temporary situations.
Example: She is studying for her exam right now.
Formula: [Subject] + am/is/are + [verb + -ing]
Present Perfect:

Use: The Present Perfect is used to express actions or events


that happened in the past but have a connection to the present.
Example: They have traveled to many countries.
Formula: [Subject] + have/has + [past participle of verb]
Present Perfect Continuous:

Use: The Present Perfect Continuous is used to express an ongoing action that
started in the past and continues up to the present.

Example: I have been studying for two hours.

Formula: [Subject] + have/has been + [verb + -ing]
