IS THERE BENEFIT OF SPEECH?

This house believes that hate speech should not be protected under
freedom of speech laws. I support what the motion says. Freedom of speech
laws is not place for person who can speak everywhere and whenever they
want. There is no place for hate speech. We have to different between hate
speech and critic with the solution, our country after the new order protected
people what they want to say, before of that nobody can speak up for
nepotism what goverment do. The example for these several days we have
passed the day of the death Wiji thukul person who critical of goverment
policy, this is positive parable of the example. I mean we haven’t to abuse
freedom of speech laws word, not at all conditions we say what we wanna say,
as the saying goes, where you stand there the sky is upheld. Indonesia with so
many different culture in every islands has an unwritten rules, it is ethical
norms. What is the content these ethical norms? The content is we must good
speak with person who older than us, we must good speak of all people no
matter who it is and much more content of the ethical norms. Hate speech that
is bad speak who speak it will hurt peopple and hated. What is the benefit of
hate speech? Why would they want to do that? People who lack affection
will tend to more easily issue harsh words filled with hatred. Even when
they’re interacting directly, they will tend to be intimidating to
others. Psychologically, this happens because a mindset has been instilled in
their mind that it is difficult for them to form relationships with other people,
so they choose to stay away from other people by spreading hatred. isn't it if
you speak well it will melt a lot of people's hearts? So why don’t we speak
good? We don’t need all people in this world care of us because
that’s impossible. Care to people who care you and good to people who hate
you. Extinguish fire with the water not fire. The example person who do
