    Mini Project Title: PADDY COLLECTING MACHINE

    Introduction: A simple paddy collector made of locally available material using local manufacturing technology
    was designed , fabricated, and tested for collecting and bagging of paddy dried on concrete pavement

    Literature Review
    (Journal paper related to work):
    We present a collection of published information, material on paddy collecting machine related areas of
    research, such as books and journal articles. This review identifies, evaluates and synthesis the relevant
    literature. It shows how knowledge has developed within the field, highlighting what has already been done,
    what is generally accepted, what is emerging and what is the current state of the paddy collecting machine

    Problem Definition/Vision:
    The cost of production of rice increasing due to several factors. Small effective machine are to be developed by
    which manually reduces the labour involvement also the time required for processing reduces. It can be
    operated single person, It is completely work based on mechanical energy

    Objectives:
     To fabricate and assemble the designed grain collector
     Grain collector is small machinery for efficient collection of all type of small size grains
     To minimize the tome of collecting

    Methodology:
    Four bar mechanism use to collect the paddy

    Proposed Solution/Outcome:
     To achieve high efficiency
     To reduce the cost
     To reduce the more mechanisms involved

    Expected Reports/Results: To collect the paddy in a sufficient time and reduce the more labour involvement
    Mini Project merits & demerits:
    Merits
     Manually operated no fuel and electricity
     Ease of operation
     Single time investment and life time validity
     Single user is sufficient

    Demerits
     It is not suitable for large scale production
     Man force required is more
