fain perform a range of functions that is determined by the
components (e.2, sensors, circuitry, and other hardware)
included withthe wearable device as manufactured, How.
lever, space, cost, and other considerations may limit the
ability to provide every component that might provide a
esired function. For example, different users may have
diferent preferences regarding the components and func
‘ions tha are provided by a given watch, Some users may
desire certain health tracking capabilites, while ether users
may desire Tong battery life. Furthermore, a given user may
desire different components and functions at different times,
For example, a given user may desire health monitoring
components and functions during esercise and components
having certain cosmetic Features during social activities,
[0021] Given the diversity of desired components and
Tiunetions, it would be beneficial to allow a user to modify
components and funetions of a watch to customize the user
experience aeconting (0 the user’s desires. Additionally or
ltematively, it would be beneficial to allow a mannfatarer
tw modify components and functions of wateh according to
fustom orders from purchaser and/or to streamline a
‘manufacturing process. Wearable electronic devices, includ
ing watehes, of the present disclosure facilitate ewstomiza-
tion, adgptabiliy, and modification by a user aecording
the users desires.
