Year 8 Residential Trip to Doñana

Monday 19th to Friday 23rd June 2023 inclusive

Dear Parents,

I am writing to you to inform you of the details for the above residential trip.

Our students will be staying in Doñana of the Huelva region. We have worked
extensively with local companies and guides to put together an exciting range of
activities and excursions for students to visit this spectacular region that displays the
biodiversity and natural beauty of the area.

Our school bus will leave EIC at 08:00 am sharp. Please arrive by 7.45 am to
ensure efficient departure. We will arrive at our destination around 12.30,
where we will be brought directly to Camping Doñana for check in.

The trip will be based at Camping Doñana-Beach, El Flamenco Hotel, SA, A-

21006192, Ctra. San Juan del Puerto- Matalascañas, km. 35,5000. 21130- Mazagón
(Huelva) - Costa de la Luz.

On Friday 23rd, we will leave Doñana at 12:00, with the intention of arriving at EIC at
16:30, depending on traffic.

The accompanying staff will be Ms Katia, Ms Cunliffe, Mr Hosking, Mr Julio and

myself. The school insurance covers accidents and illnesses. Please let us know
about allergies/medication that may be necessary. Also, we are not allowing mobile
phones on the trip this year. Please note that a meeting about the trip will be held on
Monday 5 June at 4.05pm in Sc2.
