Dear Parents,
The 12th grade Individuals and Societies students combined with Computer Science, will be taking
a field trip to the Indonesian Central Bank BI as well as the Central Bank Museum.
These trips are planned on Wednesday August 30, 2023, departure will be from the MISJ Campus
at 7, and will return back to campus from the Central Bank Museum at 3pm to reach campus by

The purpose of this field trip is to provide students with a hands-on learning experience about the
Indonesian economy and the role of the Indonesian Central Bank (BI). The field trip will focus on
three main topics that the students will learn directly from the Central Bank experts:

• QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard): A payment method that uses a QR
code to scan and pay for goods and services.
• System Pembayaran Non Tunai (Non-Cash Payment System): A system that uses
electronic payments instead of cash.
• Cinta Bangga Uang Rupiah (Love and Pride for the Indonesian Rupiah): This topic aims
to instill a sense of appreciation and understanding among students for the national
currency of Indonesia, the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR).
