1. Latest Preamble in the Philippines.

PREAMBLE
“We, the sovereign Filipino people, imploring the aid of Almighty God, in order to build a
just and humane society, and establish a Government that shall embody our ideals and
aspirations, promote the common good, conserve and develop our patrimony, and
secure to ourselves and our posterity, the blessings of independence and democracy
under the rule of law and a regime of truth, justice, freedom, love, equality, and peace,
do ordain and promulgate this Constitution.”

2. How important for us citizen is preamble?

It shows powerful messages about our profound roles and responsibilities to every
citizen. It is very important for us because it serves as a guide or a reminder for us to do the
right thing when in doubt. Serving the country with passion, discipline and truthfulness in the
name of God creating unity to us Filipino citizen, so that we will not be divided.

3. What are your understandings of preamble?

My understanding of Preamble in the Philippines is to be united to the people in order

to have an equality. As a free nation, we must act and spend our liberty with commitment
focusing on the love of country, peace.
