What to include
• Present not more than 10 slides
• Guidelines:
• Slide 1 – Title & student information
• Slide 2-3 – Intro/Background – map, where the region is; explain
differences between flora and fauna region in terms of its
geographic range, if any
• Slide 4-5 – diversity; flora & fauna; endemics?, uniqueness? how
different from other regions; show pictures
• Slide 6-9 – what processes shape the region range size/limit,
distribution of its biodiversity – explain geological processes,
climatic events, time scale, barriers; boundaries of the region;
biogeographic processes such as dispersal & colonization,
extinction, adaptation, speciation/diversification
• Slide 10 – conclusion
