GROUP ASSIGNMENT AND PRESENTATION (40%)

Keeping up to date with current educational issues is an important factor in making a


good first impression at your teaching.
Based on the statements above, you are required to answer the following questions:

1) Choose any country in the world and do research on their latest issues in education ranging from early
childhood education up to higher education. i.e., educational reform, educational and the curriculum
etc.
2) Explain how the government / ministry of education of the country overcome the situations.

Assignment guidelines:

1) Form a group of not more than 4 students (Kindly refer to your respective tutor for further details).
2) Refer to recent journal articles, genuine website, newspaper articles to support your points.
3) Answers to Q1 and Q2 are to be compiled as written assignment.
4) Your report must consist of a Cover page (with group members name and students’ ID), font style
Century Gothic, size 11, doubled-spacing, not more than 10 pages – refer to attachments.
5) Plagiarism is unacceptable; therefore, students are required to use in-text-citations and proper APA
formatting.
6) The duration of the presentation will be for a minimum of 5 minutes and a maximum of 8 minutes for
each student.
7) Each presentation should be accompanied with appropriate ppt slides.
8) Written assignment deadline is before or by 22ND November 2021(Week 12) via UNIEC Virtual. Late
submission is not allowed, except with the permission from the tutor.
9) Presentation will take place in Week 13.
10) Assessment for the group assignment will be as below:
a. Written assignment (25%)
b. Presentation (15%)
