WHAT IT IS BEHAVIORISM?
Behaviourism theorist believe that knowledge
exist independently and outside of the people.
They view the learner as a blank slate who must
be provided experience. Behaviourist believe that
learning actually occurs when new behaviours or
changes in behaviours are acquired through
associations between stimuli and responses. This
leads to a change in behavior.

LEARNING PROCESS
Behavior theorist defined learning simply as
acquisition of a new behavior or change in
behavior. it's begin when a cue or stimulus from
the enviroment is presented.

LEARNING THEORIES

WHAT IS COGNITIVISM
Cognitive information processing is based on the
thought process behind the behaviour. The
theory is based on the idea that humans process
the information they receive, rather than merely
responding to stimuli ( think about what is
happening)
The changes in behavior are observable, but only
as an indicator to what is going on in the learners
head. The learners mind is like a mirror from
which new knowledge and skills will be reflected.

LEARNING PROCESS
used when the learner plays an active role in
seeking ways to understand and process
information

WHAT ARE SOME EXAMPLES?

classifying information
linking concepts
providing structure
real world examples
discussions
problem solving
analogies
imagery
mnemonics

LEARNING THEORIES

WHAT IS CONSTRUCTIVISM
based on the premise that we all construct our
own perspective of the world. learning is based
on how the individual interprets and create the
meaning of is or her experience

Include a picture or illustration that represents the topic.

LEARNING PROCESS
generates our own mental models, which we use
to make sense of our experienced. resolve
conflicts between ideals and reflect on
theoretical explanations.

WHAT ARE SOME EXAMPLES?

research project
problem based
learning
brainstorming
collaborative learning
discovery learning
