4. Two times-table action rhyme

One two is two, what can you do?   (Hold hands out, palms up, shrug shoulders)

Two twos are four, knock at the door.     (Make knocking action with clenched hand)

Three twos are six, oh what a fix! (Waggle finger as if telling someone off)

Four twos are eight, please open the gate. (Make gate opening gesture)

Five twos are ten, now shut it again. (Make gate shutting gesture)

Six twos are twelve, books on the shelves. (Reach up to put book on top shelf)

Seven twos are fourteen, where have you been?   (Waggle finger as if telling someone off)

Eight twos are sixteen, who have you seen?       (Put hand above eyes and peer into distance)

Nine twos are eighteen, perhaps it’s the queen? (Put a crown on your own head)

Ten twos are twenty, there's food a-plenty. (Eating with a spoon)

Eleven twos are twenty-two, all the more for me (Eating with a spoon)
and you.

Twelve twos are twenty-four, now you’ve finished (Sit down on the floor)
