Here teachers are expected to examine the students in the teaching and learning space. This can
include but is not limited to responses to the following:
What positive feedback have I received from my students about this lesson?
Were the students more participative and what might have accounted for this?
Were the students less hostile towards each other and what might have accounted for this?
Were the students more determined to complete tasks and what might have accounted for this?
Students seemed to have gained more significant insight into _____ concept(s) evidenced by
______.
Lesson
Here teachers are expected to examine the lesson (plan and execution) in the teaching and learning
space. This can include but is not limited to responses to the following:
What strategy was unconsciously or purposefully used that brought about greater understanding
among the students?
If the grouping strategy was appropriate, state the advantages experienced to include, how the
resources were handled and used.
If you found that the age group and learning styles were properly planned for, state what were those
plans and supporting evidence of their appropriateness in execution?
Here teachers are expected to examine themselves in the teaching and learning space. This can

improvement previously stated?
What were the attitudes and skills that were needed to enhance the lesson?

What were the behavioural challenges and what were the triggers?

What aspect of the lesson did not go as well as intended and what could have accounted for this
shortfall?
What are the resources that were lacking and how did it impact the delivery of the lesson?
If the lesson was not appropriate for the learners, what aspects were inappropriate or lacking?
