CE: Kung titingnan natin ang ating mga malulugod na panauhin ay napakaprim at proper nila. It seems like they’re ready
for action for this day partner after that brief walk. Maaari mo bang ipahayag sa kanila kung bakit napakaespesyal ng
araw na ito at Oktubre pa?

MC: October is the scouting month in the Philippines pursuant to Presidential Proclamation 1326 series of 1974. This is
in honor of the establishment of the national scouting organization. The bill was signed into law as Commonwealth Act.
No. 111 by President Manuel L. Quezon on October 31, 1936, thus marking the month of October as Scouting Month!

CE: Wow, ang galing mo naman! Ang aga-aga at may patrivia ka na agad partner! O, ano pa ang hinihintay natin!
Samahan niyo kami and let’s start the fiery passion of Scouting for this month!

MC: To formally start the BSP and GSP Joint Opening let us stand with dignity as we honor our Mother Land, the
Entrance of Colors.

CE: The mission of the Scouting Philippines is to help the youth develop values and acquire competencies to become
responsible citizens and capable leaders anchored on the Scout Oath and Law. Foremost in preparing the youth to
become agents of change in communities, guided by the Scout Oath and Law.

CE: The Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) is the national Scout Organization of the Philippines. Its mission is to imbue in
the youth the love of God, country, and fellowmen; to train young people to become responsible leaders; and to
contribute in nation-building.

CE: Senior Scouts aim to provide a flexible and active scouting program for adolescents, with an emphasis on personal
challenge and adventure and they too have a decalogue to follow.

MC: Girls and young women believe in scouting and accept the principles embodied in the promise and law. They also
have a decalogue to follow.
