SUBJECT : Spot Report in Hacking, Mauling and Stabbing Incident

DATE : May 5, 2023


1. Reference: a. Radio message with Cite Number: R9C-0404-41.
2. Date and Time: On or about 9:00 o’clock in the evening of May 5, 2023

3. Location: Purok Uno, Barangay Telaje, Tandag City, Surigao Del Sur

4. Victims: Cursty y Dingay, 39 years old, Anne Tea, 31 years old both residing at the
said area. Manuel y Dingay, 43 years old, resident of Brgy. San Isidro Tandag of said
Province, temporarily residing at said place.
5. Initial investigation disclosed that suspect while under the influence of intoxicating
liquor, arrived home and with no apparent provocation mauled then hacked the victim
but missed. Then and there, victim ran towards the nearby house of his relative
indentified as Pan Tea and asked for assistance and subsequently reported the incident
to Tandag City Police Station. Suspect went to the house of Pan Tea which resulted to a
heated argument between suspect and the daughter of Pan Tea identified as Anne Tea.
During their heated altercation, suspect punched then hacked Anne Tea hitting on the
right hand resulting Anne Tea stumbled to the ground unconsciously. Pan Tea, who saw
the incident, took a bladed weapon and stabbed Manuel y Dingay several times. Anne
Tea and Manuel y Dingay were brought by the responding PNP Team to Tandag
Medical Center for medical treatment while Pan Tea was arrested and subsequently
detained at Tandag City Police Station detention cell pending filing of appropriate
charges in court.
