I. AUTHORITY:

Verbal instruction of the Provincial Director to submit After Operation Report.

II. MATTERS INVESTIGATED:

Homicide taking transpired in front of Zurita and Lorwin Joy Aldeguer’s Sari Sari
Store located at 1st Ave, GK Laura Drive, Bagumbayan Taguig City.
on July 16, 2023 which was being perpetrated by Carl Adrian Tura.

III. FACTS OF THE CASE:

4:00 o’clock in the afternoon of July 16, 2023, in front of Zurita and Lorwin Joy
Aldeguer’s Sari Sari Store located at 1 st Ave, GK Laura Drive, Bagumbayan
Taguig City.

DISCUSSION:

July 16, 2023 at about 4: 00 o’clock in the afternoon, this Office received an information
regarding the incident in front of the sari-sari store located at 1st Ave, GK Laura Drive
Bagumbayan Taguig City. Occurrences were then thought to be the result of both parties being
under the influence of alcohol. Witnesses also saw the act committed by the known victim
Joshua Torres to start the fight by kicking the suspect Carl Adrian Tura first, and when the
conflict heated up, it was believed that the suspect broke and smashed a bottle of liquor on
victim’s head, which then result to victim's shredding some blood outside.
 Appropriate charges have been filed against the suspects for violation of Art. 249
of the Revised Penal Code against Carl Adrian Tura.

IV. ASSESSMENT/EVALUATION:

The crisis has been resolved peacefully with the collective effort of all the units
under PNP investigation units under NCRPO with the indispensable cooperation of all the
tactical units and other friendly forces in the area.

Taguig City Police has strictly adhered to the Standard Operating Procedures
(SOPs) in addressing such a kind of critical situation.

V. RECOMMENDATION:

This Office strongly recommends that appropriate awards be given to all

personnel involved in the peaceful resolution of the Homicide crisis and further recommends the
meritorious promotion of the Ground Commander and the all personnel who played a vital role
in the diplomatic resolution of the problem to the next higher rank as a recognition of their effort
and invaluable services rendered during the said crime situation.
