AKTIVITI 1.Teacher shows objects and pupils name them.
2. Teacher discusses the usage of the items with pupils.
3. Pupils are called randomly to match the flashcard with the
word cards.

AKTIVITI 1.Teacher shows pupils how to make a zigzag book.
2.Pupils make their own zigzag book.
3.Pupils colour the picture given. They cut and paste into their
zig zag book.
4. Pupils show their work to their friends and talk about it.

PENDEKATAN
AKTIVITI 1. Teacher shows a picture of a garden with colourful flowers.
2. Pupils identify the colours they know from the picture.
3.Teacher asks pupils to point to something (red/green etc).
Encourage pupils to point to things inside or outside the
classroom in small groups. (ex. Bag - pink/ white board - white..)
4 Pupils state the initial letters of each colour words.
Pupils colour the pictures with the correct colour.

AKTIVITI 1. Teacher instructs pupils to play “Simon Says” in groups.
2. Teacher shows pupils the flashcards and asks them to tell the
colour.
3.Teacher asks them which sound the colour starts with, e.g.
green starts with “g”
4. Teacher nominates pupils to take the letters card or word
cards from a box,
etc.
5. Teacher shows pupils how to put together the sound cards on
the board. (blend phonemes)

2. Pupils state the animals the in the song.
3. Teacher shows the flashcard and pupils name the animals.
( It’s an elephant. / It’s a tiger).
4.Pupils match the names of the animals. /name.the animals/write
simple sentence about the picture.

PENDEKATAN
AKTIVITI 1.Teacher plays audio of animal sounds. Pupils guess the
sounds.
2. Pupils arrange letters to form words. Example: elephant,
duck, spider, lizard, rat, dog, cat and frog.
3. Teacher puts up phrase strips for pupils to read, example: a
big elephant, a small cat, a tiny rat.
4. Next, teacher puts up sentence strips for pupils to read.
Example:
i. I like my cat.
ii. I don’t like rats.
iii. I like ducks.
5.Pupils write the simple sentence for the pictures./ Pupils
complete a crossword puzzle / Pupils draw picture of their
favourite animals and write sentences for the picture.

AKTIVITI 1. Pupils sing the head and shoulder song again.
2. They touch the body parts as they sing along.
3. Pupils describe the body part (ex long hair/ round eyes/ big
eyes/ small mouth)
4. Teacher instructs pupils to match the word cards to the correct
body parts . (i.e.: long legs, black hair, small nose, etc).
5.Teacher asks pupils to pick one friend and describe his/her
physical attributes.
