OBSERVATION NOTES

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
To analyze the nine-grade classroom environment and teacher-student interactions. Also,
to understand how teaching styles and classroom environments affect students learning
experiences and academic performances, As well as to gain insight into effective teaching
practices beneficial to creating a positive learning environment.

TEACHER- LEARNER OBSERVATION


A. Teacher Observation

 The teacher greets students as they enter the classroom, creating a positive and
welcoming atmosphere.
 The teacher checked the attendance and monitor the absent before the class start.
 During instruction, the teacher maintains eye contact with students and uses their names
when addressing them.
 The teacher implements a system of positive reinforcement, acknowledging and praising
students' efforts and achievements.
 The teacher encourages student participation by asking questions and providing wait
time for responses.
 The teacher has a well establish relationship with his students, they are comfortable in
each other’s presence.

B. Learner Observation

 Students follow a structured routine for transitioning between activities. For Monday and
Tuesday, the teacher discusses their lessons, Wednesday is the activity day, quiz day is
on Thursday, then Friday is the readathon (reading marathon) and spelling quiz day.
 Students are actively engaged in the lesson and demonstrate understanding of the lesson.

VISIONARY OBSERVATION
Learning Process

The observed class demonstrate a positive and well-managed learning environment. The
teacher effectively engaged students and maintained classroom discipline through positive
reinforcement, and active classroom management strategies. Since the teacher creates a safe
space for students to share their thoughts and ask questions without fear of judgment, the
students were actively involved in their learning and demonstrated a respectful and inclusive
classroom culture.
