Identify the underlying Philosophies of the varying definitions of globalization.

1. Solidarity and togetherness.

Globalization opened doors for trading and industry from all over the world. It
strengthened not just economic relations of the countries, but also their political commitments.
These connections became the vessel among allied countries in procurement of assistance in
times of need. Furthermore, it helped promote peace and conformity to the laws that reached the
unanimous agreement of the countries involved.
In addition, different platforms have also unlocked, offering a wider array of
communication for the people globally. The interaction among countries separated by territorial
waters has gone easily accessible for everyone.

2. Cultural diversities
People have learned to adapt cultures from other countries through the means of modern
technology. The indirect influence of a cultural identity to another is a result of the booming
globalization. It allowed people of another tradition understand and acknowledge the other kinds,
bridging gaps among diversities. However, the different technological media utilized to showcase
these cultures also amplify the severity of this influence, which eventually turns the act of
“adopting” to completely “adapting” a culture like their own.
Despite that, on the other side of the spectrum lies the evident ugly truth that these same
cultures are being subjected to criticism especially from nescient eyes who choose to remain
unaware of the roots of traditions that may seem “unusual” to them.

3. Opportunism
As the world become globally interconnected with each other, it creates more
opportunities for the people. Whether online or migratory workers, people grab whatever they
could hold on to for the sake of sustainability. A country’s economic growth determine its
capacity to offer opportunities to a people, whereas capitalists feed on to this and create
opportunities of their own.
In this philosophy of globalization is where individualism emerges. People make
decisions out of situations that this modern trend has created that will either make or break them.
