CURRICULUM MODELS
Ralph W. Tyler is the pioneer of the “Objective Model of
Curriculum Development”. He defined curriculum as all the
learning of students that is planned and directed by the school
to achieve its educational goals.

Hilda Taba Model of Curriculum Development, which is also


known as the “Interactive Model,” primarily focuses on the
planning of instructional strategies and deems it the basis of the
curriculum design. She defines “curriculum” as a plan for teaching.

Galen Saylor and William Alexander viewed curriculum as “a plan
for providing sets of learning opportunities to achieve broad
educational goals and related specific objectives for an
identifiable population served by a single school center”
CURRICULUM IMPLEMENTATION DEFINED :
This is the process where teacher action takes
place .
