Work Experience

1. Omphile Electrical and Construction cc

SHE OFFICER

October 2022- Present

  Electrification of RDP houses (1549 units), planting poles, drilling holes, stringing MV
(medium voltage) transmission line ABC bundle & conductor. Erecting transformers and
energizing them in the community of Alabama in Klerksdorp.
Project value: R 28 million.

Duties

 Site establishment, equipment inspection, site walk-about, requesting and rearranging

inspections of all plants and machinery.
 Conduct inductions for new employees and re induct old employees, toolbox talk meetings,
risk assessment and developing them.
 Writing method statements, safe operating procedures, general safety and liaising with
municipality regarding clients’ requirements of the project.
 Assisting project manager related tasks such as transmittals, filing, ordering of consumable
and PPE ordering, issuing and replacement.

2. Vcon Civil and Project

 Construction and trenching of storm water drainage pipe system, shuttering, rebar/steel
fixing, concrete work, earth works for Majuba Rail project at Majuba Power Station (Eskom)
