EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
Duties include:
Responsibility and accountability to developing and implementing the project HSE plan;
Support and direct HSE Management system implementation;
Be fully knowledgeable of the HSE Plan and related procedures;
Ensure competence, adequacy and direction of all HSE staff;
Champion the compliance with the HSE Plan with zero tolerance for non-compliance;
Initiate, schedule and attend HSE meetings with subcontractors;
Ensure the maintenance of HSE records;
Supervise the HSE staff to continually monitor and report on the work of the subcontractors;
Stop any acts not in compliance with the HSE Plan and obtain resolution with all persons
involved before restarting work;
Ensure that all project employees receive the initial Safety Training and Project Induction before
starting work on the project;
Report to the Project Director and Project Manager any violations of the HSE requirements;
Assist the Construction Manager where necessary in developing action plans;
Assist with the management of the various governmental agencies interested in the HSSE issues
of the project;
Report any incidents or near misses to the Consortium Project director and Project Manager;
Stop any unsafe act observed. Use STOP WORK Authority
Duties include:
Responsible for conducting activities in accordance with CNL’s HSE standards.
Monitoring and administering the QA/QC Plan or Program and ensuring incorporated
materials on construction projects are in compliance with the plans and specifications.
Responsible for ensuring that RESTORATION CONTRACTOR collects spoil / sand from
approved government commercial borrow pit.
Responsible for ensuring that the RESTORATION CONTRACTOR supplies and spreads
approved native soil to depth of 200mm on impacted area at top of the pit, demolished
areas and excavated areas.
Ensuring that Contractors ultimate level of the native soil shall match the general grade.
The native soil shall be such as to support the vegetation to be planted on the soil to full
growth.
Ensuring that Contractors RESTORATION CONTRACTOR allows for the absorption of the
native soil and that RESTORATION CONTRACTOR plants grass and/or crops to restore
the vegetation to match the vegetation of the general area for each of the sites.
Responsible for assuring that the acceptable quality of materials, processes, and
workmanship are utilized in the project work.

Review the initial RESTORATION CONTRACTOR schedules, milestones and deliverables
with a view to suggesting improvements and benchmarking progress.
Produce daily, weekly and monthly progress reports with pictures and send to Project
Engineer and Construction Engineer. At a minimum, the progress reports shall track the
actual versus planned activities, determine the root cause for any slippages and work
with the RESTORATION CONTRACTOR to mitigate the slippages.
Responsible for documentation and photography of burrow pits prior to and after
removal of shrubs, plants, and debris and organic materials.
Responsible for ensuring that RESTORATION CONTRACTOR removes all shrubs, plants,
debris and organic materials from burrow pits to appropriate dump sites prior to filling
the pit.
Responsible for ensuring that RESTORATION CONTRACTOR sand fills the pits found at all
the sites found at these locations.
Responsible for ensuring that RESTORATION CONTRACTOR Supply and spread approved

Coordinating/Monitoring of work activities on site in compliance with client’s HSE policies, and
statutory requirements.
Conduct and document site HSE inspections at designated sites and collate reports and follow up
to ensure close-out of all identified action points.
Facilitate and document site emergency drills
Disseminate HSE alerts, signs, posters and slogans.
Report and follow up on HIR (Hazard identification Report)
Provide advice, guidance, and assistance to personnel involved in our projects regarding safety
and health issues and work practices
Keep updates of equipment certification status and follow up pre-mob inspection of site
equipment
Coordinated and mentored project safety & health walk-through assessments

Worksite Hazard Management: Permit to work assessments, Emergency Response
assessments, Unsafe Act/Unsafe Condition tracking and implementation of corrective actions,
DROPS inspection and hazard hunt, Catering and accommodation inspections, ISO 14001
recertification awareness campaign, Learning From Incident dissemination and verification of
penetration, STOP card trending and feedback, Incident Investigation, Emergency response
drills, participation/contribution to JHA, Safe campaigns, etc.
