Albawani Construction
The King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) is a new development under construction near King Fahad
Road in the Al Aqeeq area of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia being undertaken by the Rayadah Investment
Corporation on behalf of the Pension Authority of the Kingdom Saudi Arabia. It consists of 59 towers in an
area of 1.6 million square meter. In 2011 it was the largest project in the world seeking green building
accreditation.
EPC Project-Shuqaiq 3 Independent Water Project KSA:
 HSE Team Leader ( 29th Dec 2019 to 12th October 2020)
Albawani Construction
 Shuqaiq 3 Independent water project is Saudi Arabia second largest desalination plant after Rabigh 3
IWP.The plant’s production capacity is 450,000 cubic meters per day, that will supply drinking water to
more than 1.8 million people. Acciona a spain leading company achieved the construction of project
alongside japans marubeni corporation, Rawafid alhadarah holding company and abdul latif jameel energy.
Total estimated cost of the project exceeds $600 million.
Line 3-Cherat Cement Company Limited

Cherat Cement Company Limited was incorporated in 1981. Its main business activity is manufacturing,
marketing and sale of Ordinary Portland Cement and Clinker. The Company is amongst the pioneers of
cement industry in Pakistan and is the number 1 cement producer in the region with an annual installed
capacity exceeding 4.5 million tons. CCCL line 3 will give clinkers production 6700 tons per day.

EPC Project-Gulpur Hydro Power Project:

Gulpur Hydropower Project is the third independent hydropower project in Pakistan. Wapda awarded the
contract to MIRA Power Limited, a subsidiary of Korean company KOSEP. EPC Daelim & Lotte are
contractors for construction work. Daelim Group is considered one of the top and largest chaebol companies
in South Korea.

Key Responsibilities
 Prepare/Review Daily, weekly and monthly reports
 Attends Weekly/Monthly internal and Client/Consultants meetings
 Investigate and Prepare Incident and incident closeout Reports
 Prepare Risk assessments for project activities .
 Develop and implement Health and safety management Plan, Emergency Response Plans, Heat
prevention plan, emergency rescue plans,Covid 19 mitigation plan, Facility plans, and evacuation
plan for the construction project.
 Actively involved in monthly audits on COSHH , work at height, Plant and equipment, Temporary
works,Electrical safety, Fire management, Heat stress prevention and health surveillance.
 Design Coshh storage as per compatibility chart and required arrangements.
 Organize monthly health and safety award and recognition programs.
 Actively involved in weekly Joint management walk through and quarterly internal audits.
 Prepare Emergency Drill scenarios and involved in Monthly emergency drills at projects.
 Maintain Tracking record of daily internal and consultants observations reports.
 Approval of initial work (phase 1) by ensuring acceptable welfare facilities, emergency
arrangements and make safe of work area.
 Ensured implementations of OSHA standards, Local Health safety management Plans, KSA
Regulations in all site activities, OHS and environmental managements.
 Conduct and Maintain Induction/Training records of workers i.e Work at height, confined space,
spillage control, Emergency Response, manual handling, First aid etc.
 Delivered Monthly Presentation to KAFD DMC on Traffic management at site.
 Lead and involve in project initial setups i.e Health and safety Plans and risk assessments, other
related documents, welfare facilities, emergency arrangements, and approval of work.
 Maintain Authorization Register, Mobile equipments, Power tools, Emergency and safety
equipments, and Electrical Equipments records.
 Prepare RFI for Equipments, Conduct primary inspection and engage in approval of equipment.
 Check/review, and maintain record of operatives and equipment 3 rd party certifications.
 Prepare inspection checklist for all site activities, plants and storage areas.
 Involve in General management of HSE Team and resolve work related issues.
 Implement permit to work system for all project activities including confined spaces as per permit
procedure of EPC/consultants/Client.
 Involved in Daily site work inspection of scaffolding, lifting operations, confined spaces, work at
height, emergency arrangements, permit to work system, welfare facilities, heat prevention
resources, traffic management, workers awareness, and monitoring of hazardous activities.
