Duties & Responsibilities -As HSE Supervisor

● Develop detailed planning of Site activities to ensure proper coordination of interfaces in order
to minimize and control potential issues and hazards.
● Implement safety awareness program for the Works.
● Periodically inspect the work site, report any unsafe acts/conditions to the area supervisor and/
or foreman, provide recommendations to correct deficiencies and follow-up to verify corrective
actions have been taken.
● Carry out regular safety inspections/surveillance of all site areas in coordination with the HSE
Manager.
● Carry out HSE Orientation and other job-related trainings for all employees.
● Review work method statements and JSA produced by each specialty team and Subcontractors

● Conduct a critical risk analysis for this project, identified the main risks may exist at
different construction stages and different areas.
●Aid and support to the HSE Manager regarding safety matters.
● Co-ordinate construction safety interfaces with specialty teams and subcontractors.
● Be responsible for reviewing the safety qualification of the subcontractors.
● Participate in various HSE meetings to discuss and solve current HSE issues, keep a
record of safety meetings, including agendas and personnel attendance records.
● Ensure that all personnel understand emergency evacuation procedures and can identify
assembly points.
● Keep a permanent record of job-related injuries/illnesses, near misses, fires, motor
vehicle accidents, property damage, crane and heavy equipment incidents, etc.
● Participate in incident investigations, safety meetings, drills, etc.,
and conduct/facilitate safety-training sessions.

Duties & Responsibilities -As HSE Officer

● Motivate/inform importance of Safety to all the construction workers and staff.

● Carried out jobs hazard analysis, work method & safety plan for critical job.
● I as a safety professional bring together the elements of various disciplines such as
mechanical, electrical, civil maintenance to identify the hazards and potential hazards
and suggests corrective action to be taken as per the class of hazard.
● Issuing permit to work in confined space after making gas check and also maintains
the record of each gas check.
● Daily inspection of scaffolding along with scaffolding in charge and maintains record.
● Daily auditing of P& E’s machinery checklist.
● Inspection of lifting tools and tackles to be used for erecting.
● Inspection of all rigging gears along with execution department and enforcing
color-coding.
● Daily checking of portable electrical hand tools along with electrical engineer.
● Enforcing existing safety system such as risk assessment, pre work briefing for each
enforcing corrective action to be taken.
● Monitoring the usage of Pipe’s during frequent routine inspections of work area and
enforcing corrective action to be taken.
● Recommending various caution signs as per the job requirement and get it place.
● Conducting toolbox meeting and maintaining the records.
● Checking the hygienic conditions at work place.
● Inspection of fire extinguishers and maintaining the records of same.
● Enforcing of incident/accident along with the responsible team leader and
recommending the preventive measure for reoccurrence.
