The Jamia Mosque Nairobi was the focal
point during the 12th Annual Boys Quran
Competition that closed last Friday.
The three-day competition, which drew a
large audience, was organized by Jamia
Mosque Committee Nairobi in collabora-
tion with the Cultural and Religious At-
taché of the Embassy of the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia in Kenya, and it brought to-
gether participants from madrasas and in-
stitutions across Nairobi and its environs
who demonstrated their skills in memori-
zation of the Noble Quran.
The competition featured four categories
of five Ajzaa (chapter), Ten Ajzaa, fifteen
Ajzaa and memorization of the whole
Qur'an and brought together 53 madaaris.
A total of 144 contestants competed in
the preliminary zonal competitions, with
the top three advancing to the final, which
was held at the Jamia Mosque in Nairobi.

Adams Masjid Iftar event raises Sh. 30 Million
The newest ultra-modern Adams Masjid
along Ngong Road-Nairobi, on Saturday
held an Iftar fundraising event to complete
its construction and service the pending
construction bills.
The event was attended by Muslim leaders,
including prominent scholars, politicians
and business community from Nairobi and
beyond, who came together to raise funds
for the Masjid's completion.
The Masjid's design and architecture are
a blend of traditional Islamic and modern
styles, making it a unique and striking land-
mark in Nairobi’s Ngong Road area.
Speaking during the event, Cabinet Secre-
