The use of Microsoft Word: Tips and Tricks in Maximizing MS word and its function

1. What are the key concepts that you have learned in this session?
 The key concept that I have learned from the webinar is that, with the use of MS
word it will help us edit and format documents that we will need for school works
and studies. Through MS word we can also create, great quality and professional
looking documents such as resumes, brochures, newsletters and so much more. MS
word is an essential application for us teachers because it helps us to prepare
lectures, papers and notes for students.
2. How can you integrate this in teaching in the field of education?
 As an educator, I can integrate MS word in teaching by creating learning activities
for the students, test questionnaires, quizzes, students homework assignment,
make annual reports, attendance list for students and lesson plan as well
depending upon the curriculum used in the class may be weekly, monthly, semester
wise or annually.
3. Make a summary of the session either in paragraph or bullet form.
 MS Word can benefit teachers and students to create new innovative methods of
learning and teaching.
 When you type wrong spelling on MS Word it highlights your mistake in the red
line.
 Teachers can insert and use diagrams, tables, charts, smart art, etc. visual
explanation tools. The charts, tables, smart art and shapes and various other visual
objects can benefit students to understand more about the topic practically.
 Microsoft Word Application is not only accessible to school but also at home. The
benefit of this application is that teachers can connect with students.
 MS Word allows you to change between reading and editing modes of documents
easily and smoothly.
 MS Word detect spellings, grammar and syntax errors instantly and provide you
with a series of solutions to suit the sentence and documents.
 MS Word also detects the language you are using and you can also combine
multiple languages in a single document.
