PRESS RELEASE

On October 14, 2023 at about 9:53 p.m. the Ogdensburg Police Department Responded to the
300 block of Deviller Street for a report of a 24 year old male that had been shot. Upon arrival
the Victim had been shot once with a Shotgun and sustained very minor injuries. Upon the
investigation and subsequent search warrant the weapon used was recovered.

Nikeia J. Paige DOB 5/30/1984 of 1217 Greene Street, City of Ogdensburg was arrested for
Assault 2nd and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th. Paige was arraigned in Ogdensburg City
Court and Released on her own recognizance. Ogdensburg Pd was assisted by the St. Lawrence
County Sheriffs Department, the NYSP, and NYS Dec.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
