Prelude Contents
Dear Reader,
After a two-year hiatus in the publication of Medicor, I am

20
pleased and proud to present to you the first issue of 2021.

As much of our lives moved online for the past year, so did
Medicor. We hope to strike a balance between the classic
look and feel of the magazine.

Unlike previous issues, you won’t find this issue at your

doorstep or scattered around campus. For the first time,
we’re trying to go fully digital. It is fitting time to try; as
much of our lives moved online with the pandemic, so did
Medicor.

As you may have gathered, our cover story discusses the

Covid-19 vaccinations that currently stand in the global
spotlight. As editor-in-chief, I have – ironically enough – left
this story largely unedited.

We take a lens to how vaccine development, acquisition,

and distribution intertwine with the abilities and agendas of
different parts of the world.
30
Along the same lines, you will find within these pages
resources at MF and KI that can help you navigate life
more easily.

At Medicor, we welcome constructive discussion and

discourse, so if you find yourself wanting to respond to any
content in the magazine, I offer you a platform on our
website or in the next magazine issue. Do reach out to us!
