established the first permanent Spanish settlement in Cebu. Over the

B. SPECULATIVE HISTORY

Anwer. In the 17th century, a lost expedition of European alchemist

stumbled upon a hidden cave in the Cordillera mountains. Inside,
they discovered a mysterious crystal, the "Philosopher's Prism", with
extraordinary properties. This powerful artifact, when harnessed by
the indigenous Kalinga people, granted them advanced healing
abilities and visions of the future. United by this new found knowledge,
they formed a peaceful confederation, resisting spanish colonization
and maintaining their autonomy. The Philosopher's Prism remains a
symbol of hope and resistance, revered by Filipinos as a testament to
their rich, speculative history.
