voltages of modulating signal and carrier are 40 sinω mt and 50 sinω ct, respectively.

Problem #2

An audio frequency signal 10 sin 2π×500 t is used to amplitude modulate a

carrier of 50 sin2π×105t. Calculate
1) Modulation index
2) Sideband frequencies
3) Amplitude of each sideband frequencies
4) Bandwidth required
5) Total power delivered to the load of 600Ω.

Problem #3

modulation of the signal if each of the sidebands contains 75W.

total power, and (c) the sideband power.

Problem #7

A sinusoidal modulating signal having a peak voltage of 2 V is modulated with

a carier frequency. The output of the modulator is connected to a 5 kΩ load. Determine
each of the following:
1. The power in the carrier frequency.
2. The power in each sideband.
3. The power in both sidebands.
4. The total power.
