Simon

Hi Simon,
Yesterday, we booked airline tickets for our trip to England in July. We will arrive at Newcastle Airport on
5th July at 17:35.
I’m really looking forward to seeing you all. The last time I saw your parents, Aunt Helen and Uncle Pete,
was about three years ago! Will your sister Pam be there? I hope I can play tennis with her again. We had
a wonderful time playing together when she came to San Diego last year.
Dad wants to go to Beamish Museum during our stay in Newcastle. He says it’s really interesting. Mum
wants to see a show at the Theatre Royal. When she was a kid, she and Aunt Helen often went there. She’s
going to book tickets for a musical this time.
We’re planning to stay in Newcastle for two weeks. Then, we’re going to hire a car and drive around
Scotland. Do you want to come with us? There will probably be room for you in the car. We’re going to stay
in Edinburgh for one night. Then, we’re going to drive around the lakes. Maybe we’ll see the Loch Ness
monster!
What will the weather be like in Newcastle? Will it be possible to swim in the sea? Should I bring my
swimsuit? Please write soon.
Love,
Jenny
