Activities PIC

Activities at the campus:

_ Beiung ready at the hall with 3 TAs.
_ Welcoming all the students.
_ Dividing them into 3 teams, each TA is in charge of 1 team.
_ Naming each group with funny names.

_ Showing students the map of iconic places that they will pass by on the day, then
explaining that the kids are going to explore those places in HCMC. At each destination,
they wil join in a game. When they win a game, they will receive a sticker and candy/pie.
_ Giving each student a map.
_ Getting on the bus with students and TAs.
Activity on the bus:
- Welcoming the students to Ho Chi Minh City tour. Teacher might introduce himself and
have some small talk with students to get to know some of them. 1 teacher
- Having students guess the first destination - the Zoo (using 8 flashcards) . 3 TAs
- Presenting + drilling 8 words
- Memory check game: 'Pass the flashcards' in limited time.

Stop 1: the bus stops in front of the Zoo

- Students get off the bus and find the animals that they have learned (bird, bear, giraffe,
elephant, lion, peacock, snake, tiger.)
- Teacher reads the questions, 3 teams will ring the bells to answer the questions (each
team should have at least one chance to answer):
1. Tell me 5 animals with 4 legs (lion, tiger, elephant, dog, cat).
1 teacher
2. Tell me 3 big animals (elephant, bear, tiger, dinosaur, lion, whale, shark).
3 TAs
3. Tell me 3 animals that live on land (cow, kangaroo, mouse, rabbit).
3 guards
Backup question: Tell me 3 animals that live in the sea (fish, dolphin, octopus, shark).
Rewards: The balloons will be given each team member if they have correct answers.
Note:
Before the students get on the bus and head to the next stop, their maps will be stamped.
TAs and guards will support the students when they get on and off the bus (check
attendace).
Activity on the bus:
- Having a small talk with students:
1. What's your favorite animal?
2. Have you got any animals living with you in the house?
3. Are you ready for the next stop? Let's play a game. 1 teacher

- Hidden picture: post office (reveal the pictures by taking out the numbers/paper one by
one) (confirm chỗ này)
- Follow-up question before getting off at Saigon central post office: "Who works at the
post office?" -> postman

Stop 2: Saigon central post office

- Activity: guiding students to get off the bus and find the postman who will challenge
students.
CHALLENGE: Do the Baby Shark dance1 1 teacher
(All students, TAs and teacher dance together along with the music) 3 TAs
3 guards
- Event organizer will play music when students do the flash mob dance.
Students will be rewarded with gifts and have their maps stamped after completing the
challenge.
Activity on the bus (while moving to Nguyễn Huệ Walking Street):
- Game: Hangman.
Key word: 'Walking street'

+ There are 3 teams.

+ Have students sing the ABC song to review the alphabet (optional, based on the time).
+ Have students use the following phrase when playing the game " Is there any
letter......?" 1 teacher
+Teacher shows an A3 paper with the alphabet on it, then crosses out the letters which 3 TAs
are not in the keywords.

- Introducing the next stop: Nguyen Hue walking street.

Stop 3: NGUYEN HUE WALKING STREET

- Challenge: Do the puzzles
+ T3 teams, each team wil receive a set of puzzles.
1 teacher
+ Teacher helps students to complete the puzzles.
3 TAs
(The puzzles with 3 words " NGUYEN HUE" + " WALKING" + "STREET")
3 guards
TA has to make sure all members of his/her team present at the place the activity takes
place or be well-seated on the bus before it moves.
Activity on the bus (while going back to VUS NTMK):
- Quiz (check what students have learned during the trip)
+ 5 multiple choice questions.
+ 4 students sitting in the same row on the bus will be in the same team. Each group will
be given 2 letters A and B which represent the 2 options. 1 teacher
+ Teacher reads the questions and tell students 2 options (A or B). (The 2 options are 3 TAs
written on paper).
After the teacher says " 1,2,3 go!", students raise their answers up.
+ Teacher gives compliments to groups which have the correct answer.
+ Teacher gives badges/candies to all students.

Sau khi đến nơi HV nghỉ ngơi và lên xe di

Mascot ở trạm 1 cần mặc đồ giống 1

trong 8 con vật các em vừa học để
GV dễ hướng dẫn các em.

Xe di chuyển đến TCV sẽ dừng lại, NC chào

mừng các bạn học viên từ xe xuống & tham
gia hoạt động tại TCV (không vào trong)

Ngọc Châu có 1 đoạn giới thiệu bản thân

mình với các bạn bằng tiếng anh.

Ngọc Châu hỗ trợ giáo viên tương tác với các

bạn bên cạnh đó tặng quà và đóng dấu
quatrạm cho các bạn.
Sau khi hoàn thành trạm dừng đầu, Ngọc
Châu sẽ lên Superbus cùng các bé (đứng ở
vị trí đầu xe) và di chuyển đến địa điểm tiếp
theo.

*GV host chính, NC hoạt náo & tặng quà cho

các bé

Ngọc Châu hỏi các bé câu hỏi "What's your

favorite animal?"

Sau đó thầy giáo sẽ hỏi tiếp các câu hỏi còn

lại và Ngọc Châu phụ thầy tương tác với các
bé

Đến trạm dừng thứ 2, Ngọc Châu xuống xe

và tham gia hoạt động nhảy cùng các bé bài
"Baby shark' song" (động tác vui tươi, hoạt
náo các bé)
Ngọc Châu phát kẹo cho các bé.
1 nhân sự đóng vai postman tại bưu
điện.
Chuẩn bị nhạc 'Baby shark'.
Trên xe đến trạm dừng tiếp theo sẽ có các
hoạt động cho HV. Thầy giáo host chính &
NC hoạt náo ( hỗ trợ thầy giáo gạch bỏ các
chữ cái trên giấy.)

Đến trạm dừng, các bé chia 3 nhóm giải đố.

NC qua từng nhóm để phụ các bé ghép hình.
Sau đó tặng quà.
