This report is a summary of my 24-week internship at Mocha De One Café Sdn. Bhd.,
where I was assigned to the Operations/Marketing Department. This company provides a wide
range of beverages, including various types of ice blended drinks, smoothies, yogurt-based
treats, and other coffee options. This report will outline the particulars of my six-month
internship at Bangi, Selangor, from March 27, 2023 to September 8, 2023.
In the initial section of this report, I will outline the goals and then delve into a
comprehensive discussion of the objectives of my industrial training. It is essential that I
provide an overview of the company's background, my responsibilities throughout the initial
training and any limitations I haveexperienced. This report covers my twenty-four weeks of
Industrial Training.
The team at Mocha De One Café Sdn Bhd has been exceptionally supportive
throughout my training tenure. Their guidance and assistance were pivotal in providing me
with valuable exposure to the real-world business environment. I remain optimistic about
Mocha De One Café's prospects for future growth and expansion, and I look forward to
witnessing their continued success.

Throughout my internship with Mocha De One Café, I had the opportunity to acquire valuable
professional skills and personal growth. In order to convey my gratitude, I would like to extend
my heartfelt thanks to Mr. Mohd Raduan Bin Mohd Amin, my industry supervisor, for approving
my application and enabling me to complete 24 weeks of industrial training at Mocha De One
Café.
My gratitude towards Ts. Dr. Amir bin Aris, the University Supervisor assigned to me
throughout my internship, he has been an invaluable resource for guidance, insight, and
assistance. Additionally, I want to thank my family and friends for their moral support and for
assisting me in achieving success in my Industrial Training. The majority of my peers also
remind me of significant dates and events in our Industrial Training and provideme with advice
on how to compose this report and complete our Industrial Training in 24 weeks.

CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION
1.1 Objective
Following the theoretical study, students are exposed to a real workplace environment
through industrial training. This practical experience enables students to apply their knowledge
and skills in a practical and innovative manner. During this period, students have the opportunity
to showcase their competencies in planning, analysis, execution, and overseeing organizational
operations. Furthermore, students are encouraged to approach problem-solving with critical and
creative thinking. The primary aim of this training is to facilitate the enhancement and
development of students' skills. It prompts them to strengthen their communication skills when
interacting with both colleagues and higher-level management. Additionally, students learn how
to effectively convey their understanding of career growth and potential career pathways.
In addition, industrial training exposes and teaches learners about organizational ethics
and norms. Students should be able to accomplish the allocated task on schedule and in
accordance with the established work norms. As a result, students should anticipate receiving
instructions on occasion, as time management is an essential ability in the professional world.

In order to graduate from University of Technology Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), this
report must be presented as part of the Industrial Training programme. It will describe the
training activities and offer an overview of the training process over a specific time period.

CHAPTER 2: INDUSTRY BACKGROUND
Mocha De One Café is a Malaysian-based food truck business renowned for its
extensive beverage selection, which includes various types of ice blended drinks, coffee,
smoothies, yogurt-based drinks, and other options. Mocha De One Café has earned a strong
reputation among Bangi’s citizens for delivering premium and delectable beverages at
affordable prices.
Mocha De One Café began in 2017 when Mr. Mohd Raduan Bin Mohd Amin, the
company's founder, ventured into the food and beverage industry. Driven by his passion for
offering high-quality products and exceptional service to customers, he chose to start a food
truck business. Mr. Mohd Raduan dedicated himself to delivering excellence, and following
his retirement from his previous occupation, he established Mocha De One Café to pursue his
passion further and make it one of the top food trucks in Malaysia.
In its initial years, Mocha De One Café encountered challenges while trying to establish
itself in the competitive food and beverage industry. As a new business owner, Mr. Raduan was
navigating the intricacies and dynamics of running a business. Despite facing difficulties and
slow sales, his unwavering dedication and determination kept him from giving up. Fast forward
to subsequent years, Mocha De One Café has transformed into one of the most renowned food
trucks in Bangi. This transformation coincided with Mr. Raduan's decision to secure a lease site
at PKNS Bangi, marking a pivotal moment in the cafe's journey to success.
At this day, Mocha De One Café boasts an impressive annual sales figure, estimated to
range between RM200,000 to RM240,000. This achievement can be attributed to Mr. Raduan's
relentless efforts and his steadfast belief in the company's potential for growth. Over time, the
company's revenue has experienced steady and incremental increases, painting a promising
picture for its future.

premier food truck for drinks in our town. Our relentless dedication to delivering exceptional
taste, service, and value remains at the core of our identity, making every visit to our café a
delightful and memorable experience for our cherished patrons.
2.2.4 Location
The company’s office is located at Lot 6105, Jalan Cempaka Biru, Kg. Dato’ Abu
Bakar Baginda, Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor. Meanwhile, our business site is located at 139,
Jalan Medan PB 2, Seksyen 9, 43650 Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor.

Mocha De One Café has achieved a remarkable milestone, selling over 200,000 cups
of premium and high-quality drinks to date. This achievement reflects the cafe's unwavering
commitment to delivering exceptional taste through the use of top-notch ingredients.
Strategically located at PKNS Bangi, Mocha De One Café has chosen an attractive and inviting
setting for friends and families to gather and enjoy their beverages. Staying attuned to customer
preferences is at the heart of the cafe's success, allowing it to continually meet and exceed
demand.
Mocha De One Café employs effective marketing and branding strategies to generate
heightened demand for its beverages. Leveraging popular social media platforms like TikTok,
Instagram and Facebook, the cafe connects with its audience and promotes its brand. Active
participation in Facebook groups and communities facilitates networking and provides
valuable insights for brand expansion.
Over the course of its six-year journey, Mocha De One Café has actively engaged in
various events to bolster its brand recognition and drive sales. Notable examples include
participation in events such as the Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture & Agrotourism (MAHA)
held at MAEPS Serdang, Light and Motion Putrajaya (LAMPU), Floria Putrajaya, and
numerous others. These endeavors showcase the cafe's commitment to building a strong brand
presence and catering to diverse customer segments.

CHAPTER 3: TRAINING ACTIVITIES
My training industrial training began on March 27, 2023 and continued until September
8,2023. Accordingly, it will take twenty-four weeks. Tuesday through Thursday, the working
day begins at 4:30 p.m. and continues until 11:00 p.m. There is a break of one hour throughout
those days. On Fridays through Sundays, the working hours were extended by one hour due to
the weekend, commencing at 4:30 p.m. and concluding at 12:00 a.m. I was granted Mondays
as my designated day off each week.
One of the social media marketing that has been used in extending De Mocha One Café brand
was including platform selection, content creation, audience targeting, engagement and
consistency.

3.2.2 Marketing Language
During my training, I acquired the skills to establish social media presence for De
Mocha One Café. Mr. Raduan provided me with the official email and password for the cafe's
accounts. I began by logging into the De Mocha One Café Facebook account and then
proceeded to set up the business on Facebook Business Manager by visiting
https://business.facebook.com/. Within this platform, I created a new Business Page and
diligently filled in all the necessary business details. After that, I uploaded profile and cover
photos, giving the page a visually appealing look. I then proceeded to customize the page and
crafted content that aligns with our brand's preferences and values.

Similarly, I extended our online presence to TikTok and Instagram, creating accounts
on both platforms with the primary goal of promoting and expanding the De Mocha One Café
brand.

3.2.4 Inventory Management
I was asked to implement quality control measures to ensure that the products received
meet specified standards and are free from defects. As for storage, I organized and optimize
storage systems, ensuring that products are stored safely and efficiently. This includes
implementing first-in-first-out (FIFO) or last-in-first-out (LIFO) systems as necessary.

3.2.5 Human Resource Management
During this phase of my training, I was entrusted with the responsibility of developing
a pay slip template to streamline the payment process for De Mocha One Café's staff and ensure
accurate documentation for auditing purposes. I designed this template with a focus on enhancing
its comprehensiveness and organization. My tasks included revamping the existing pay slip
template to provide a more detailed and structured format. I incorporated all the essential
information required in the pay slip and added the café's logo as a final touch to complete the
template.

3.2.6 Poster Making For Jualan Rahmah
During this training phase, I was tasked with designing a promotional poster for Mocha
De One Café's participation in the Jualan Mega Rahmah event at PKNS Bangi. The objective
of creating this poster was to inform customers about our promotions and draw their attention
to visit our food truck.
To begin, I captured an enticing image of one of our top-selling beverages, the The O
Ais. I then enhanced the visual by placing it against a vibrant, eye-catching background.
Additionally, I included essential information on the poster, such as pricing details and the
promotion offer, to ensure potential customers were well-informed and attracted to our
offerings.

CHAPTER 4: CONCLUSION
The timeframe of 24 weeks is essential for students to obtain industrial exposure and
fresh experience and knowledge. Experience is essential, in particular in the business world
where we must have a comprehensive understanding of how things function.
Without a question, my time at Mocha De One Café has provided me with a wealth of
fresh knowledge and expertise. Mr. Raduan, my industrial supervisor, instructs and enlightens
me on a range of future-beneficial aspects. Not to forget the helpful advice providedby Ts Dr.
Amir. I can utilise all of the skills I learnt in Mocha De One Café because the Digital Marketing
Industry has a high demand for them.
