Agriculture is the art and science of cultivating the soil, growing crops, and the rearing
of animals to provide food, wool, and other products. Agriculture is important for us because
it provides most of the world's food and fabrics. It helps us by supporting livelihoods through
food, habitat, and jobs; providing raw materials for food and other products; and building
strong economies through trade. The Philippines is surrounded by many mountains and hills,
has a lot of landforms. The Philippines is an agricultural country with a land area of 30
million hectares, 47% of which is agricultural land. Agriculture dominates Philippine
economy. It furnishes employment to about 3 million persons or about 60 per cent of the
gainfully employed workers.

There are 10.66 million people employed in agriculture in the Philippines. The average daily
wage for farmers is PHP331. A quarter of the Philippine labor force rely on farming as
livelihood, and agricultural products account for over 20% of the total volume and value of
domestic maritime trade in 2019. There are a lot of farmers in the Philippines but still has a
failing economy and has no attention given from the leaders of the Philippines and head of
agricultural department. All of the farmers are always exposed to heat of the sun and that has
UV rays that causes cancer in the skin and they let their sweat dry on their back that causes
cough and it can also cause pneumonia.

The aim of this research is to help the farmers in the Philippines to plant seeds using the new
technology that researchers have invented.
