Course Description: Computer Fundamentals
Credit: 3 units

Course Description:
This course provides an overview of information technology, computer fundamentals and other topics related to computers and
its applications. It includes Windows applications such as Microsoft Word 2007, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint 2007.

General Objectives:
At the end of the study, the students are expected:
1. To know the fundamental concepts of computer and information technology and its applications,
2. To gain knowledge on computer hardware, computer software and computer networks.
3. To know the arithmetic operations and conversions of number systems.
4. To equip with knowledge on how to use MS Word 2007, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint 2007.
5. To be familiar with computer networking.
