BLOKAJ KONUSU
Hardcore is the layer that is generally composed of stone chips or
crushed rubble (moloz) poured under lean concrete and is a good
precaution against waterproofing, which is recommended to be poured
with a thickness of 15 cm. A sand layer or the lean concrete layer can be
applied afterwards.

The raft foundation begins with the excavation process.

MAT/RAFT
Compaction + harcore layers, then 10 cm thick lean concrete
is poured. Thus, the transfer of small settlements on the FOUNDATIONS
ground affecting the building’s foundation is minimized.

The foundation formwork is nailed around the lean concrete

or a brick wall is built according to the raft foundation height.

In order to prevent groundwater from reaching the foundation

rebars, water insulation is applied on lean concrete.

The main plumbing pipes are placed inside the foundation. Elevator pitch is prepared
Rebars are extended above for columns and shear walls.
