A. Evidence from the text:
I. The Filipino is not inferior to any man of any race. His physical, intellectual, and moral
qualities are as excellent as those of the proudest stock of mankind. But some of these
qualities, I am constrained to admit, have become dormant in recent years.
II. They had traditions potent in influence in their lives, individually and collectively. They had
the courage to be pioneers, to brave the seas, clear the forest and erect towns and cities upon
the wilderness. They led a life of toil and communal service. Each one considered himself an
active part of the body politic. But those traditions are either lost or forgotten. They exist only as
a hazy mist in our distant past.

B. Accurate
Manuel L. Quezon's statement was accurate since he was expressing or explaining reality
based on his experience.

C. My sample evidence:
The Filipinos today, have lost much of the moral strength and power for growth of our
ancestors.

D. Reason:
Filipinos today have lost much of the moral strength of our ancestors, and the reason is that
since the season is changing, the traits or behavior of a person are changing. Some Filipinos
nowadays don't have the courage to fight for their rights.

A. Evidence from the text:
I. He is uninclined to sustained strenuous effort! He lacks earnestness. Face-saving is the
dominant note in the confused symphony of his existence.
II. His sense of righteousness is often dulled by the desire of personal gain. His norm of
conduct is generally prompted by expediency rather than by principle.

B. Accurate
It's accurate because filipino in our era now lacks earnestness and some people is dulled by
the desire of their personal gain.

C. The Research said that Filipinos are respectful and stay true to their culture. However this
has changed as time goes on. It has been discouraged by the very descendants of that culture.

D.
The reason is that Filipinos today take on other cultural norms. This takes their attention away
from the Filipino culture and is now a lesser version of the modern culture of society.
