DVC 1500 MW PUMPED STORAGE PROJECT -

In the presence of DVC, today on 09.10.2023, in the meeting called by Mr. Amit Kumar Singh, Senior
Divisional Engineer (Civil) of DVC, Lugu Pahad Pump Storage Project, Chandrapura, at Panchayat
Bhawan, we all the nearby villagers of Pindra, Tulbul, Lalgarh, Tuti Jharna and others the benefits of the
said project of DVC were explained, with the coming of this project, jobs and employment will be
generated and poverty will be eliminated, many types of social problems will be solved for the people in
the surrounding areas, Under the social responsibility for the nearby people, many types of government
work related to social interest will be done, This project will provide irrigation water to the surrounding
people.
DVC will provide technical and vocational training to young men and women aged between 18 to 25
years belonging to the affected area to become proficient in work related to the plant.

Therefore, all of us villagers give our consent to complete the survey work of this project. Natural beauty
may be maintained and preserved as much as possible. There will be no damage to Lugu pahar and Lugu
Baba temple and project will be developed smoothly by DVC and there will be no harm to wild animals.
We also request the Jharkhand government and the state government to bring this project of Lugu
pahar of DVC as soon as possible.
