A. First Stage: Activation of one detector in a hazard area (Zone 1 Activation)
1. Fire Alarm Signal to Fire Releasing Control Panel (Zone-A “FIRE”) in
Control Room.
2. Alarm Signal Transmitted to Main Fire Alarm Control Panel located
in Control Room.
3. Alarm Signal on MIMIC Panel illuminate RED LED.
4. Alarm Bells with strobe inside each protected room and all rooms in
SVC Building will activate.
5. HVAC is shutdown through FECP

B. Second Stage: Activation of one detector in a hazard area (Zone 2 Activation)


1. Fire Alarm signal to Fire Releasing Control Panel (Zone-B “FIRE”) in
Control Room.
2. Alarm signal transmitted to Main Fire Alarm Control Panel (MFACP)
located in Control Room.
3. Alarm Signal on MIMIC Panel illuminate RED LED.

4. First Stage alarm keep activated.


5. Pre-Discharge Horn and Strobe inside and outside the affected room
and weather-proof Horn/Strobe outside the Building with tone is
activated.
6. Delay Time of 30 seconds in FECP has started before the release of
gas.
7. Main FACP Printer printed the Log Events.

C. Third Stage: When the delay time in FECP expires:

1. All General alarms are still active.


2. All Pre-Discharge Alarm and Weather-Proof Horn Strobes outside
the Building is active.
3. After 30seconds delay time third stage Horn/Strobes tone will
change to continuous.

4. After 30 seconds delay time the FECP Releasing circuit enabled and
FM200 Gas Releasing in the affected room.

5. Gas Discharged Signal displayed on FECP through Pressure


Operator Switch in FM200 Riser.

6. FM200 Gas released signal transmitted to MFACP and SAS.

7. Main FACP printer printed Log Events.

D. Status Indicator (Lock-Off Panel)


1. Lock-off panel shall locate outside the FM200 protected rooms and
3 combined:
1.1. 10-Status LED
1.2. Key Maintenance Switch (Mode Selector: - Auto/Manual)
1.3. Manual Release (Yellow)
2. While locking out the key maintenance switch, circuit enabled to
show Status indicator Supervisory status in FECP.
3. Locking out the key maintenance switch, automatic activation of
electrical actuator circuit disabled and FM200 system will go to
manual mode

E. Manual Release Activation through Lock-Off Panel

1. Fire alarm signal to Fire Releasing Control panel in Control Room.

2. Alarm signal transmitted to Main Fire Alarm Control Panel (MFACP)


located in Control Room

3. Alarm signal on Mimic Panel illuminate RED LED

4. Alarm bells with strobe inside each protected room and bells in
all areas in SVC Building will activate.
5. Pre-Discharge Horn & Strobe inside and outside the affected room
with tone is activated.
6. Delay time of 30 seconds in FECP has started before the release of
gas.
7. After 30 seconds FECP releasing circuit enabled and Solenoid valve
triggered, FM200 gas releasing in the affected room
8. Gas Discharged Signal displayed on FECP through Pressure operator
switch in FM200 raiser

9. “FM200 Gas Released” signal transmitted to MFACP and SAS

10. Main FACP Printer printed the Log Events

F. Activation of Abort Switch

1. In case there is no any actual fire, then we can press and hold the
abort-switch to avoid the Electrical Actuator operation.
2. In case of actual fire, pressing and holding the abort switch will hold
the Electrical Actuator Operation, so that no lefts at protected room
prior to discharge of agent. Releasing Abort Switch will start actual
delay of 30secs. To release the solenoid.
G. Activation of Addressable devices and Outdoor WP-HD detectors:
1. Alarm signal to Main Fire Alarm Control Panel (MFACP) located in
Control Room
2. Outdoor Weatherproof Horn/Strobe are activated in tone (NAC#3-
General Alarm)
H. Supervisory Pressure Switches
1. Supervisory Low-Pressure switch when removed shall show
supervisory trouble on FECP panel.
2. Cylinder charged pressure dropped Low-Pressure status display on
FECP
3. Main FACP Printer printed the Log Events

I. Maintenance Switch
1. Maintenance switch used to cut the power off from the releasing
module, to avoid any faulty discharge during maintenance, and
should give trouble on the panel. (using the maintenance switch
during the alarm will not affect the alarm signal, alarm signal will
keep active)
J. Main/Reserve Switch:
1. Main/Reserve switch used to transfer between the main & reserve
cylinders in each system is operational?

K. Printer

1. Printer prints all events for FA/FF Systems.
