 IN THE KITCHEN

A : Hello. How are you Tini? Long time no see. I would like to say thank you for your
cooking invitation.
B : I am just doing fine Sarah. Welcome to my house. Lets we go to my kitchen.
A : Do you want to help with a baking?
B : Sure, what are we making?
A : let’s make cinnamon rolls.

B : I Love cinnamon rolls. I have never made them before.

A : It is easy . I have my mother’s recipe.
B : What ingredients that we need?
A : Let me check the recipe. Let’s see. We need flour, butter, milk, salt, eggs, sugar, yeast and
water.

B : Ok I have got the ingredients on the table. Now what?
A : Mix up the sugar, butter and the salt in mixing bowl while I heat up the milk. Then we will
mix it together.
B : Got it Tini.A : OK now when that is all combined we add the butter and let it melt in. then
we can add the eggs and yeast
B : Then the flour?
A : Yeah, add enough flour to make a soft dough. Then we let it rise, work it down to get any
air bubbles out of the dough then let it rise again.
B : That will be a little while yet.
A : True. After the dough has risen again, we can roll it out and get ready to add the next
ingredients.
B : What other ingredients do we need?
A : We need melted butter, brown sugar, white sugar and cinnamon.

B : I have the dough rolled out.
A : That’s look good. Now you can pour the melted butter over it. Make sure you’ll cover all
the dough.
B : What if it spills onto the table?
A : Don’t worry about it. We can clean up later.
B : all right.
A : When you have that done, spread a layer of brown sugar over the dough.
B : This much?
A : Go ahead and put more on. Cover the dough thoroughly.
B : Ok that is done.
A : Now you can sprinkle the white sugar over the top of brown sugar and the sprinkle on the
cinnamon.
B : Done now what?
A : Now we roll the dough up. Cut it into slices. Let it rise a bit and bake the cinnamon rolls
for 30 to 40 minutes.
B : I have an idea. While we wait for the cinnamon rolls. How about making cappuccino for
the drink?
A : That sounds great. Let me do it. I want make a cappuccino with the sprinkle cinnamon over
it.

B : Yes. Don’t for get to make it much right.

A : the cinnamon rolled is finished Tini. How about your cappuccino?
B : I have finished it to. Let’s try to eat cinnamon rolls and drink the cappuccino.
A : Ok. Mmm this is delicious. Thank you for helping me today Sarah
B : You are welcome Tini.
