What is the most important contribution of mathematics in humankind?

For me, it is Evolution. We evolved over the years with the help of mathematics, it can be
seen through the evolution of man towards intellectual growth. We’ve learned to
understand the concept of math slowly starting with exchanging or trading our goods,
understanding currencies, identifying the time, creating structural buildings, coding,
answering calculus & algebra, studying the galaxy, and slowly making our way to the
evolution of technology. In one of our meetings, Mr. Mark Angelo R. Dilay, our Math in
the Modern World Professor, said and I quote “Math is Everywhere, without math there
would be Chaos” and an example he gave about it is how a lot of people would fight about
the exchanging of trades if math didn’t exist. There would be no equality to maintain
balance as no one knows math. How would they sort out their products? How would they
share or distribute it? There would be chaos without math, and that gives it a reason to
why it is important. Another factor to add, is Architecture and Engineering. Houses and
structural buildings wouldn’t exist without math. Building and Designing things also has
mathematics, with measuring the lot size and estimating how big or small the bricks are
in order to create a building, to knowing the height of a structure and how should an arc
be created. Math is existing everywhere. Another contribution of mathematics is the rise
of technologies. It started with a digital computer, and it slowly improved and evolved over
time and now we have digital phones, tablets, watches, televisions and many more. It
also helped in health-related factors, like measuring blood pressure, identifying the
diseases of a person, and reviewing the smallest cell in our body. Every part of it is related
to math, we just don’t see it clearly enough. But just Mathematics existing is already its
greatest and most important contribution to mankind. Without math, none of these
would’ve existed. We have achieved great things, created the unimaginable and learned
things that was also out of our reach because of math, we have improved and still
continuing to improve for the better with mathematics.
