Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA), 2nd Floor Working Women’s Hostel
opposite Police Headquarter Garden Road East Karachi invites sealed tenders on Item rate for
Non-Schedule items and percentage rate basis on PAK PWD scheduled of rates 2012 and E/M
2004 from Firms / Contractors duly registered with PEC for the year 2019-20 in category C-4 &
above and relevant code(ME-03 and EE-04) for the works mentioned below.

Terms and conditions
1. Tenders documents can be purchased on cash payment of Rs. 5000/- (Nonrefundable)
from office of Project Director located at 2nd Floor Working Women’s Hostel opposite
Police Headquarter Garden Road East Karachi on working hours on any working day
upto 06-04-2020. No tender shall be sold on the date of opening.
2. Tender shall be received in the office of Project Director latest by 07-04-2020 at
11:30AM and shall be opened at 12:00 Noon on the same date in the presence of the
bidders/authorized representatives.
3. The firms/contractor should be authorize dealer / sole distributor of original
manufacturer in Pakistan and have adequate financial soundness, similar works
experience in last five years, person capabilities, equipment etc. Method of selection
will be single stage two envelope.
4. Interested firms/Contractors should provide the following documents with their tenders.
Valid PEC registration will be mandatory for issuance of Tender documents.
5. Tender Through post/fax/telegraphically/email shall not be entertained.
6. Tender must be accompanied with the requisite Bid Security in shape of CDR issued
from any schedule bank of Pakistan in favour of Federal Govt. Employees Housing
Foundation, Karachi.
7. Under rule 33 (1) of PPRA rules 2004, FGE Housing Authority reserves the right to
reject all the bids any time prior to the acceptance of a bid. The Authority shall upon
request communicate to any supplier or contractor who submitted a bid or proposed the
ground for its rejection of all bids or proposal, but is not required to justify those
grounds.
8. The submission of tender by the contractor implies that he is fully conversant with the
site of work, scope of work & terms & conditions laid down in the tender documents.
9. Conditional tenders will not be acceptable.
10. The contractor will have to produce CNIC, Income Tax registration (NTN), professional
Tax certificate, in original along with attested photocopies.
11. Tender will be issued to original contractors.
12. All the applicable Federal/Provincial taxes must be considered while preparing the bids
and shall be considered included in the quoted rates.
