1)karhera community:- Karhera, a peri-urban agricultural village situated between


the rapidly expanding cities of New Delhi (India's capital) and Ghaziabad (an
industrial district in Uttar Pradesh).

an urban demand for fresh vegetables.

● Distance from college:- Distance between Delhi College of Arts and Commerce and karhera is

● Problems faced by them:-This village environment resources such as water-have become polluted and
degraded. This has made it hard to continue farming and also use of hindon river toxic water in irrigation is
a major problem.

to warn people away from adulterating crops with drainage water.

Haryana, India. It is situated 8km away from sub-district headquarter Ballabgarh (tehsildar office) and
16km away from district headquarter Faridabad.
