Topic : Unit 6 Food, please!
Main skill : 2.1.2 Find out about and describe basic every day routines
Complementary skill: 1.2.5 Understand a wide range of short supported questions.
Objectives : Pupils should be able to
i) talk about the pictures.
ii) Ask and answer the question to complete the table.
Success Criteria : By the end of the lesson, pupils will demonstrate their learning by:
i) talking about at least 3 out of 5 pictures.
ii) Asking and answering at least 3 out of 5 question to complete the
table.
iii) Reading at least 4 out of 5 words correctly. (PLaN)
Teaching Aids : Textbook p.59, audio.

Activities :
Pre-lesson:
1. Stick the flashcards on the board, point to each one and encourage pupils to say
the words.

While- Speaking
1. Direct pupils’ attention to the picture and ask them what they are doing.
2. Explain to pupils that they will have to ask their classmates questions like
the one in the example.
3. Pupils read the phrases in the table.
4. Invite pupils to say the questions to complete the table.
5. Pupils walk around and asking the question.

Post- Speaking
1. Ask some of the pupils present their answers to the class.
2. Pupils look at the pictures, say and write the words.
3. PLaN- 4 pupils listen to the words. They read the words after drilling.

Reflection:
21 / 25 pupils were able to achieve the objectives.
4 / 25 pupils need guidance to achieve the objectives.
