Plagiarized stuff from here, and a few things I found.

Many thanks to /u/Orffen and their eagle

eyes superior PDF software. Plagiarism is much easier for me to do than actual work...

Game Concepts
From /u/Orffen:
● Page 38, Essence: "All characters have this attribute, starting at 6."
● Page 41, Hit the Dirt: -2 dice pool penalty now only applies until the end of your next
turn, unless you Stand Up

Base damage decreased by 2 (no longer 2P)
● Page 44, Edge: "one expenditure of Edge per round action"
● Page 48, Edge Actions By Cost table: Knockout Blow no longer requires 1 Edge to
have been spent in a previous action

Character Creation
From /u/Orffen:
● Page 64, Priority Selection Examples: Alyson's priority C example corrected to 12
points

table, before any adjustments) that they use to purchase Adept powers.

need to be directly opposing them

Archetypes
From /u/Orffen:
● Page 89, Technomancer archetype: replaced Skinlink complex form with Stitches

Skills
From /u/Orffen:
● Page 94, Close Combat: Base Unarmed damage is 2S.
● Page 95, Firearms: greatly expanded specialisations list
● Page 97, Stealth: removed Disguise specialisation

edge section
● Page 120, Healing: added medkit rating + Logic test
● Page 122, CS/Tear Gas: updated wording; removed washing thoroughly with soap and
water text

Magic
From /u/Orffen:
● Page 135/136, Antidote: the mage may spend consecutive major actions to roll again
without recasting
● Page 141, Overclock: "the device takes damage equal to the net hits used"
● Page 143, Spend Reagents: if no reagents are specified, leader must spend amount
equal to the threshold
● Page 145, Ward: rating now equal to leader's magic plus net hits
● Page 149, Alchemy: preparations no longer have Force
● Page 156, Power Points: adepts lose power points if they lose Magic
● Page 158, Mystic Adepts: mystic adepts lose power points if they lose Magic
● Page 167, Initiation: maximum Magic rank is reduced by 1 for every full point of
Essence lost

P. 135, Antidote
Changes “Roll a Sorcery + Magic (toxin power) Extended test.” to “Roll a Sorcery + Magic test.”

P. 136, Decrease Attribute

Changes “The touch of the mage weakens, slows, or stupefies the target, temporarily lowering
one of their attributes.” to “The touch of the mage weakens, slows, or stupefies the target,
temporarily lowering one of their attributes (to a minimum of 1).”

P. 149, Alchemy, Paragraph 2

Preparations now only have 3 key elements- Force is not described here.

P. 151, Column 2, Area, Paragraph 2

Adds this sentence to end “Sustained spells remain in effect for one minute per remaining
potency upon trigger.”

P. 158, Mystic Adepts, Paragraph 2

Adds this sentence to end “If a mystic adept loses a point of Magic, they also lose a
corresponding power point as well, provided they have any.”

Matrix
From /u/Orffen:
● Page 174, Personas and Attributes: you can now only rotate non-zero attributes
● Page 181, Data Spike: DV now equal to Attack Attribute/2, rounded up
● Page 183, Reboot Device: removed language about ceasing electronic functions;
Overwatch Score, exploits or backdoors are also reset
● Page 183, Reconfigure Matrix Attribute: swap base ratings of non-zero attributes
● Page 186, IC: IC now use Host Attack Rating and (Host Rating x 2) for Condition
Monitor and most rolls
● Page 189, The Living Persona: technomancers now use stun condition monitor in
place of a matrix condition monitor
● Page 191, Compiling a Sprite: "tasks have to happen in the same grid and host the
technomancer is in"
● Page 195, Increased Maximum Resonance: maximum Resonance attribute is reduced
by 1 for every full point of Essence lost
● Page 195, Living Network: your living persona can function as the master device
participate in a PAN

P. 180, Brute Force, Paragraph 2

Changes “If the hacker is attempting to gain Admin access without first having gained User
access” to “When attempting to gain Admin access without first having gained User access”

P. 183, Reboot Device

Changes “The device ceases electronic functions and disappears from the Matrix until its reboot
time is over.” to “The device disappears from the Matrix until its reboot time is over and any
Overwatch Score, exploits, or backdoors are reset.”
Editor’s Note: This alters things- if a car were rebooted in the old version, it would shut down,
and slow down accordingly. In the new version, an object in motion stays in motion (Electronic
functions have not ceased, it simply cannot be accessed via matrix), barring any manual
override.

P. 186, IC
Duplicate “Defensive rolls and effects vary by IC type” removed.

P. 186, IC
Duplicate “Defensive rolls and effects vary by IC type” removed.
P. 193, Column 1, sentence 3
Put a space in-between “OSjust”

P. 195, Increased Maximum Resonance

Changes “The natural maximum for your Resonance attribute is 6 + your Submersion grade.” to
“The natural maximum for your Resonance attribute is 6 + your Submersion grade (reduced by
one for every full point of Essence lost).”

P. 195, Column 2, Living Network

Changes “Your living persona can function as the master device in a PAN.” to “Your living
persona can participate in a PAN.”

Rigging
From /u/Orffen:
● Page 196, Rigging - The Basics: added "7. 1. With the exception of electricity damage
(see pg. 109), vehicles are immune to stun damage with a DV equal to or lower than
their Body."
● Page 197, Control Rigs and You: "a control rig awards numerous mechanical
advantages - see p. 283" (was one extra die per rating point)
● Page 197, Rigger Command Console: commanding drones is now a Minor action (was
Major)
● Page 201, Drone Rigging: commanding a drone is now a Minor action

P. 199, Vehicle Movement Example

In the second paragraph, the maximum acceleration rate of her Americar is now 9. Other
mathematics in the example are adjusted to reflect this. They also buffed her reaction to 4.

P. 200, Vehicle Modding

Table was moved up an inch.

P. 201, Column 1, paragraph 2

The following sentence replaces the confusing sentence about soft targets: “Target vehicles do
the same, or (target’s Body / 4, rounded up) for soft targets, back to the attacker.”
Editor’s Note: Presumably, this means a hard target (Like a brick wall) would follow vehicle rules
for damage. Still vague, and requires a GM call (IE, is a plaster wall hard or soft) but better.

Wildlife
From /u/Orffen:
● Page 227, Paralyzing Howl: the target now gains the Stilled status (was Paralyzed)
● NPCS - Updated move to 10/15/+1 for:
● Yakuza Blademaster
● Seraphim Avenging Angel
● Tir Ghost
● Sioux Wildcat Combat Specialist

Changes “If the critter gets 4 or more net hits, the target gains the Paralyzed status.” to “If the
critter gets 4 or more net hits, the target gains the Stilled status.”

Running the Game

I could have missed something, but it looks like there wasn’t any change.
From /u/Orffen:

● Page 237, Pay a Bribe: fixed text to reflect 1,000 nuyen bribes

Strength to the Attack Rating

● Page 257, Machine Guns/Assault Cannons: renamed the category from Machine
Guns

Puts an asterisk next to Monofilament whip. This references a new line:
“* Whips add the attackers Reaction instead of Strength to the Attack Rating”

P. 258, Rifles Table

(Thanks /u/penllawen)
Change price of Colt M23 to 2,100¥.
Editor’s Note: Cheaper than before, but more expensive than the GCRB change- they made it
1,500¥.
