Gender-based Violence

Although our society has progressed in terms of people understanding or recognizing different
types of gender and their variances over time, some issues sometimes or let say, more often exist. Sexual
assault, relationship violence, stalking, and sexual harassment all fall under the general concept of gender
violence. And men are the ones who commit the majority of the violence against women. Gender-based
violence is frequently physical, with sexuality commonly involved, but it can also be psychological.

Gender-based violence in not good because no one deserves to experience violence regardless of
what gender like they don’t deserve to be hurt just because they are of a different gender of course who
else wants right? We have the right as human being to do what ever we want for ourselves, and they don’t
right to question us. Just respect. Then gender violence can affect depression-like, even though they have
experienced violence for a long time, and people think they have moved on but no, which can lead this to
trauma and depression. And it may lead to suicide. Gender-based violence should be avoided at all costs,
as it prohibits us from progressing and building mutual respect. In order to eradicate and eliminate the
fundamental causes of gender-based violence, awareness and prevention is essential. And there are some
ways to prevent this violence. And this can be accomplished through large-scale of protests, distribution
of banners or flyers, as well as the use of social networking sites or media to propagate the message. By
doing this we can help or some people will be aware about this issue.

Lastly, this specific major issue is needed to be addressed in our society. This can put some
individuals at risk and it can reflect in human right of an individuals. Making it a blemish on our society.
Remember that any form of violence is disrespectful or immoral and shout not be supported.
