Reflection

Within this lesson we had talked about the different type of installing with
different kind of cables or lines.
One of the subtopics of this lesson is the Main Cable Installation. Cable
installer works in homes and business to Install and Repair the
telecommunication cables that could be phone line, internet cables, or cable
television. One to three hours is the usual time before the installation
completed. We also had the POTS or the Public Old Telephone Service. This
refers to the basic voice service traditionally transmitted over the copper wire
network. The sound wave of a caller’s voice are convert by the telephone
handset into electrical signals that travels over the network. In 2018 carriers
such as Verizon and AT&T are no longer have to install or maintain existing
POTS Lines. This means that POTS lines services are maintenance prices,
which already are high, may increase. Moreover, we have the Digital Subscriber
Line or what we all known as the DSL. Users get a high speed bandwidth
connection from a phone wall jack on an existing telephone network. DSL work
within the frequencies that the telephone does not so you can use the internet
while making phone calls.
From having manually transferring call back then, to wireless and big
telephone to having the computers, and the internet, to having a smart phone
and now a wireless internet connections, human evolve and so as the
technology, we do not know what technology is ahead of but one thing is for
