Class Adjustments
• Student permitted to record all classes using Assistive Technology
• Use of Assistive Technology (Software): Glean Notetaker, Read & Write
• Tutorial Amendment required
• Extension on individual assignments/practical work - The standard Western Sydney University extensions request/application
process needs to be followed with the AIP used as evidence to support the first extension request for the assessment . Standard
extension with an AIP is 7 days from the original due date.

In-Class Tests and End-Of-Term Exams

Information listed in this section is for final, deferred and supplementary examinations.
These may also apply to school run tests if stipulated below.

Extra Exam Time


• Extra minutes per hour (pro rata): 5 minutes
• Extra time does not apply to tasks where time is an inherent requirement for OSCE/OSCA/practical exams

Venue Type
• Venue: Large (max 10) group room

School Run Tests which are timed, for example: inclass tests, online quizzes, mid-term exams and practical exams
• Exams / Timed Task Adjustments apply to: school run tests 60 minutes or longer (excluding extra exam time)
