B. Vibration isolators
1. Isolators meet the requirements as outlined
in the isolator table in 160.88-N1, Isolator
selection and mounting.
2. Isolators are adjusted so that the unit
is level and that all isolators are equally
deflected.
C. Water piping
1. Chilled water piping is installed between
cooler, pumps, and cooling coils.
2. Make-up and fill lines are installed to the
chilled water system.
3. All water piping is checked for strain. Piping
must not spring when connections are
broken at unit.
4. Water piping is leak tested and flushed, and
water strainers are cleaned after flushing.
5. Piping systems are filled with water and
trapped and all air is vented.
6. Chilled water flow is available to meet the
unit design requirements.
D. Refrigerant relief piping (when required)
1. Refrigerant relief piping with flexible
connection is installed from unit to
atmosphere in accordance with local codes.
E. Unit clearances
1. Ensure that the clearances around the
unit meet the requirements of 160.88-N1,
Installation section.

F. Electrical wiring
1. Variable Speed Drive:
a. Main power supply is available.
b. Wiring is completed from main power
supply to single point power connection
in accordance with 160.88-PW1.
Note: Do NOT cut to length or connect to
drive without Johnson Controls supervi-
sion.
c. Wiring is completed to the evaporator
freeze protection power connection.
Note: Do NOT cut to length or connect
without Johnson Controls supervision.
2. Control Center:
a. Jumper wire is NOT installed between
terminal 24 and 25 located on the
control center terminal strip (TB-6).
b. External control wiring is completed
from the control center to chilled
water flow switches or interlocks
in accordance with the YORK Wiring
Diagram Form 160-88-PW2.
c. Power is available and wiring is
completed to the chilled water pump,
and rotation has been checked.
Note: Do NOT check the compressor
motor rotation.
G. Testing, evacuation, and charging
1. Dry nitrogen is available for testing.
2. A high vacuum pump is available for
evacuation and dehydration of system.
3. Refrigerant, as supplied by Johnson
Controls, is available for charging.
4. Unit has been or is ready to be been
pressure tested, evacuated, dehydrated,
and charged as outlined in 160.88-OM1.
H. Conditions
1. Cooling load is available for testing and
operating the unit.
2. Personnel are available for final wiring
connections.
3. Personnel are available for start-up and
testing.

Contractor's responsibilities and instructions to use form
This installation checklist provides a quick way to check if all necessary installation work was completed in accordance
with all applicable installation instructions in Forms 160.88-N1, and when completed, acts as a request for Johnson
Controls to furnish start-up supervision.
Complete this form as follows:
1. Fill out the top of page 1.
2. Check off each item as required. Cross out (x) items that do not apply.
3. Enter names, initials, and date of the operating personnel who completed the checklist.
4. Bottom of form: Enter the date that the Johnson Controls start-up technician should be at the job site and the
name(s) of the supervisor(s) to be contacted.
5. Retain one copy in files and send one copy to customer.

With reference to the terms of the above contract, we are requesting the presence of your JCI Authorized Representative
at the job site on _______/_______/_______ (Month / Day / Year) to start the system and instruct operating personnel.

TERMS: We understand that the services of the Johnson Controls Authorized Representative will be furnished in
