EDUCATIONAL ASTRONOMY ACTIVITIES OF PYXIS SOLUTIONS INC.

FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2023–2024

The Pyxis Solutions Inc. will organize Educational Astronomy Activities for schools
within the various regions and divisions in the country for School Year 2023–2024:

Activity Objective/Description
Cosmo Quest: A gamified rotating astronomy exhibit designed to
Journey Beyond the Stars! introduce young learners to the wonders of the
universe. By combining interactive displays with
informative content, students will gain insights into
the daily activities of astronomers.
Beyond Horizons: A hands-on astronomy-themed daytime seminar
An Astronomy Seminar designed to provide students with a deeper
Workshop understanding of current trends in the field of
science. Notable experts in the astronomy
community will share their experiences and
research, fostering a direct connection between
academic theories and real-world applications.
Star Trails: An overnight stargazing experience camp dedicated
Camp under the Stars! to nurturing a genuine passion for astronomy.
Participants will engage in sky navigation, use
telescopes for actual stargazing, and learn about
celestial phenomena.

All events will be held within school campuses or appropriate venues, ensuring safety
and accessibility for all participants.

The target audience is Kindergarten to Grade 12 learners from both public and private
schools.

Participation of learners and teachers from public and private schools shall be purely
voluntary and will not hamper instructional time in compliance with the provisions of DepEd
Order (DO) No. 34, s. 2022 titled School Calendar and Activities for the School Year 2022–2023
and DO 9, s. 2005 titled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring
Compliance Therewith and the policy on off-campus activities stated in DO 66, s. 2017.
