2023 NATIONAL MUSIC COMPETITIONS FOR YOUNG ARTISTS

In conjunction with the forthcoming National Music Week celebration, the

2023 National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA) announces that its
culmination event will take place during the National Music Week with the theme
Gintong Pamana (Golden Legacy) on November 21 to 26, 2023, at the Metropolitan
Theater, Manila.

The conduct of the activity is pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 25, s.

1998, which declares the last week of November of each year as the National Music
Week wherein NAMCYA’s mission for the nation’s Young Artists, and Republic Act
No. 11915, which designates NAMCYA as the Philippine National Youth Development
Program for Music.

The following are the proposed venues and dates for the regional and national
final competitions and the culmination activity:
